Attorney Profiles

Jay C. Jacobson is a senior owner and director in the Phoenix law firm of Sanders & Parks, P.C. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, construction law and litigation, professional liability litigation, property tax litigation, insurance law and litigation, and appeals. He is a periodic lecturer to professional groups concerning litigation matters. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University in 1992. He received a Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University College of Law in 1996, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class, was a member of the Order of the Coif, and served as a Note and Comment Editor for the Arizona State Law Journal. He is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and the State Bar of Colorado, and is admitted to practice law in the Arizona and Colorado state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
